  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to cardiac patients in accordance with the highest standards of nursing practice.
  2. Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure holistic and patient-centered care is provided.
  3. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care based on individual needs.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and monitor patient responses.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, symptoms, and progress notes.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  8. Stay up-to-date with current trends and advancements in cardiac nursing by attending seminars and training sessions.
  9. Serve as a patient advocate by ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed and addressed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Kentucky.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience In A Cardiology Setting.

  • Cpr Certification And Acls Certification.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Using Electronic Medical Record Systems And Other Technology Used In Cardiology Care.
