Job Description

Baptist Health in Kentucky is looking for an experienced Registered Dietitian Outpatient Nutrition to join our team. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual who can provide nutrition counseling and education in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with other health care professionals.The ideal candidate for this position must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition, and must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Additionally, the candidate must have at least one year of experience in a clinical nutrition setting, as well as knowledge of the nutrition care process and medical nutrition therapy.If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide nutrition counseling and education in an outpatient setting.
  2. Work both independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  3. Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up counseling and education.
  4. Develop individualized nutrition plans and manage nutrition-related care.
  5. Educate patients on proper nutrition and health-related topics.
  6. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and nutrition care plans.
  7. Participate in quality assurance and professional development activities.
  8. Monitor and stay abreast of current nutrition trends.
  9. Coordinate patient referrals and dietary resources.
  10. Participate in research, lectures, and seminars relating to nutrition and health.
