Job Description

Baptist Health is looking for a motivated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our Outpatient Nutrition team. Working in this role, you will have the chance to use your nutrition expertise to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing quality care and who is passionate about helping people achieve their health and nutrition goals.To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Dietitian with a Kentucky licensure. You will need to be able to work independently as well as with a team, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a strong commitment to quality patient care. You should also be detail-oriented and organized, and have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualized nutrition counseling to patients using evidence-based nutrition principles.
  2. Develop and implement nutrition care plans for patients based on their individual needs.
  3. Create educational materials and lead nutrition classes for patients.
  4. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  6. Maintain accurate patient records and document all nutrition services provided.
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  8. Keep up to date with current nutrition trends and standards.
  9. Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credential

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition Or Dietetics

  • Eligible For Licensure In The State Of Kentucky

  • Knowledge Of Clinical Nutrition Principles

  • Knowledge Of Nutrition Care Process

  • Knowledge Of Food Service Management

  • Knowledge Of Current Trends In Nutrition
