- Facilitate patient referrals: The Referral Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all patient referrals for the Bariatric Surgery department. This includes receiving and processing referral requests from healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients.
- Coordinate appointments and schedules: The Referral Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling appointments for patients, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Communicate with patients and healthcare providers: The Referral Coordinator will serve as the main point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, providing updates and information regarding the referral process and addressing any questions or concerns that may arise.

Experience In Healthcare Administration: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Administration, Preferably In A Bariatric Surgery Setting, Is Required For This Position. This Will Ensure The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And Related Administrative Tasks.
Attention To Detail: As A Referral Coordinator, Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure Accurate And Timely Processing Of Patient Referrals. This Includes Verifying Insurance Coverage, Obtaining Necessary Medical Records, And Scheduling Appointments.
