  1. Review and analyze patient medical records to identify any incomplete or missing documentation.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary information to complete patient records.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deficiencies and communicate findings to relevant parties.
  4. Utilize electronic health record systems to track and document deficiencies and progress in resolving them.
  5. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  6. Communicate and educate healthcare providers on proper documentation practices to improve record completeness.
  7. Identify and report any patterns or trends in record deficiencies to assist in process improvement efforts.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations when handling patient records.
  9. Participate in meetings and trainings to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
  10. Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate completion of patient records.
  11. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
  12. Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and communicate any delays or challenges to superiors.
  13. Collaborate with coding and billing departments to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for services provided.
  14. Serve as a resource for fellow team members and provide support as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals And Departments.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working With Medical Records In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Coding Systems, And Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Software.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Analyze And Interpret Medical Records.
