- Greet and welcome patients and their families to Baptist Health in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist phlebotomists in collecting and labeling patient samples according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of patient information, including sample collection and processing.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients to explain the phlebotomy process and answer any questions or concerns.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and timely processing of patient samples.
- Maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies and equipment, and notify appropriate personnel when supplies need to be restocked.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Knowledge Of Phlebotomy Procedures: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Phlebotomy Procedures, Including Proper Techniques For Drawing Blood, Handling Specimens, And Maintaining Sterile Environments.
