At Baptist Health (Kentucky), we are looking for a motivated Phlebotomist/Admission Coordinator to help lead our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires an individual with a strong commitment to providing excellent care to our patients. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and skill set required to manage the phlebotomy services and admission process for Baptist Health.Required Qualifications for this role include: a minimum of an Associate’s degree in medical assisting or a related field, one year of phlebotomy experience, and one year of experience in a medical office setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the phlebotomy services and admission process for Baptist Health.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to patients.
  3. Ensure accuracy of patient information.
  4. Organize and maintain patient files.
  5. Ensure the accuracy of laboratory results.
  6. Perform venipuncture procedures.
  7. Maintain a clean and well-stocked work area.
  8. Follow safety protocols.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  10. Adhere to HIPAA regulations.
