Job Description

The Pharmacy Intern PRN position at Baptist Health (Kentucky) is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare setting. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a commitment to providing excellent customer service while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.To be successful in this role, the Pharmacy Intern PRN must possess a current pharmacy technician license in the state of Kentucky; at least one year of experience in a pharmacy setting; and a strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication safety protocols, and HIPAA guidelines. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Maintain current pharmacy technician license in the state of Kentucky • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting • Possess a strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication safety protocols, and HIPAA guidelines • Provide excellent customer service and uphold the highest standards of professionalism • Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Assist with pharmacy related tasks, including data entry, order processing, and customer support • Adhere to all health and safety regulations • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all pharmacy related activities
