  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients with orthopedic needs.
  2. Utilize your expertise and knowledge in orthopedic nursing to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress, identifying any changes or issues and taking appropriate action.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ensure accurate documentation.
  6. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and management of orthopedic conditions.
  7. Utilize advanced resources and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in orthopedic nursing.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.
  9. Act as a patient advocate and ensure their needs and concerns are addressed.
  10. Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment by working closely with other healthcare team members.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  12. Serve as a role model for professional behavior and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining accreditation standards.
  14. Continuously strive to provide exceptional care and contribute to the mission of providing quality healthcare to the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bls And Acls Certification

  • Valid Rn License In The State Of Kentucky

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Orthopedic Nursing

  • Certified Orthopedic Nurse (Onc) Credential Preferred

  • Strong Knowledge Of Orthopedic Procedures And Treatments, Including Post-Operative Care
