Baptist Health (Kentucky) is eager to welcome a dedicated and experienced OB Surgical Technician - Certified to join our team! As a key member of our operating room team, you will use your skills and expertise to assist in the delivery of safe and effective patient care. If you have a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence, this is the ideal role for you!To be successful in this role, you must have current certification as an OB Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). In addition, you should have at least two years of experience in a similar role, with a proven ability to work well under pressure and provide a high level of patient care. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide compassionate and efficient patient care during procedures
  2. Assist in the delivery of safe and effective patient care
  3. Maintain current certification as an OB Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
  4. Maintain a professional attitude and excellent communication skills
  5. Work well under pressure in a fast-paced operating room environment
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and patient privacy regulations
  7. Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as needed
  8. Assist in the setup and breakdown of operating room equipment
  9. Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment
  10. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
