Job Description

Baptist Health (Kentucky) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and support to our patients, families, and staff. You will be an integral part of the team that ensures our patients receive the best care possible.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of one year of experience as a Nursing Assistant, or have completed a certified nursing assistant program. You should also be committed to providing quality care and maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills are also required. If you are a motivated, organized, and compassionate individual who has a passion for healthcare, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
  2. Assist nurses with medical treatments, tests, and procedures.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the nursing staff.
  4. Respond to patient requests and ensure their comfort and safety.
  5. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
  6. Assist with the transfer of patients as needed.
  7. Update patient charts and records in accordance with hospital policies.
  8. Educate and support patients and their families.
  9. Participate in professional development and training activities.
  10. Adhere to hospital protocols and safety regulations.
