  1. Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
  2. Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures, including preparing and cleaning exam rooms and equipment.
  3. Take and record vital signs and patient medical history accurately and efficiently.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as directed by the physician.
  5. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
  6. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  7. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure timely and efficient care.
  8. Communicate with patients and their families to address any questions or concerns.
  9. Educate patients on their condition, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  11. Assist with medical procedures and surgeries, as needed.
  12. Keep abreast of current medical advancements and techniques in the field of neurology and neurosurgery.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and infection control.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards.
  15. Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  16. Serve as a role model for other medical assistants and promote a positive and professional work environment.
  17. Maintain a compassionate and caring attitude towards patients, treating them with dignity and respect.
  18. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate levels for patient care.
  19. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  20. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and customer service, reflecting the values and mission of Baptist Health.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credential

  • Prior Experience In A Neurology Or Neurosurgery Setting

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Record Systems And Ability To Navigate Computer Software Efficiently

  • Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology Related To Neurology And Neurosurgery

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Interacting With Patients, Healthcare Team Members, And Physicians.
