- Provide exceptional care and support to patients enrolled in the Medical Weight Loss program.
- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations for patients and develop personalized weight loss plans based on their individual needs and goals.
- Monitor and track patients' progress throughout their weight loss journey and make necessary adjustments to their plans.
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and provide resources and guidance for maintaining a healthy weight.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining patient records.
- Collaborate with the program's team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research, trends, and techniques in weight loss and share knowledge with colleagues and patients.
- Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients, making them feel comfortable and supported.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures within the Medical Weight Loss program to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team to promote a patient-centered approach.
- Represent the program and Baptist Health in a positive manner and actively participate in community outreach and education initiatives related to weight loss and wellness.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: While A College Degree Is Not Always Required, A Medical Assistant At Baptist Health Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma): To Ensure The Highest Level Of Quality And Expertise, Baptist Health Prefers Candidates Who Have Passed The Cma Exam And Hold A Current Certification.
Experience In A Medical Weight Loss Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Medical Weight Loss Clinic Or With Weight Loss Patients Is Highly Preferred For This Position.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Common Procedures Used In A Weight Loss Setting Is Essential For A Medical Assistant At Baptist Health.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Medical Assistant At Baptist Health, You Will Be Interacting With Patients On A Daily Basis. Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Necessary To Provide The Highest Level Of Care And Support To Patients.
