Medical Assistant - Family Practice

5. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

7. Assist physicians with procedures and treatments as needed.
8. Educate patients on medication instructions, procedures, and follow-up care.
9. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
11. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
12. Continuously update and maintain knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.
13. Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
14. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
15. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families.
16. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Baptist Health.
17. Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards coworkers and patients.
18. Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information.
19. Assist with the ordering and stocking of medical supplies.
20. Continuously strive to meet and exceed patient satisfaction goals.
