Job Description

Baptist Health (Kentucky) is seeking an experienced and organized professional to join our team as a Materials Shipping & Receiving Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and receipt of materials. You will be required to ensure that all items are delivered and received in a timely manner and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, great attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting deadlines. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about their work, takes initiative, and is eager to learn and grow with our team.Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• 3+ years of experience in materials shipping and receiving• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and other business software• Ability to lift and move materials as needed• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the delivery and receipt of materials in a timely manner.
  2. Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and keep accurate records.
  4. Monitor order progress and ensure timely delivery.
  5. Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  6. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
  7. Maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
  8. Utilize Microsoft Office products as well as other business software.
  9. Demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  10. Lift and move materials as needed.
  11. Remain up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  12. Take initiative to identify and address potential problems.
