Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Materials Associate to join our team at Baptist Health in Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to think critically and problem solve, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. If you possess the qualifications and have a passion for helping others, we invite you to apply.The Materials Associate is responsible for maintaining and organizing the hospital's inventory and supplies, while ensuring accurate data entry and data management. As a key member of the Materials Management team, you will be responsible for tracking inventory, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring accurate and timely deliveries. In this role, you will also be responsible for building relationships with vendors, managing returns, and providing excellent customer service.To be considered for this position, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience working in a materials management or supply chain management role. In addition, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and organize hospital inventory and supplies.
  2. Track inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
  3. Build relationships with vendors, manage returns, and provide excellent customer service.
  4. Perform accurate data entry and data management.
  5. Collaborate with multiple teams and prioritize tasks.
  6. Monitor and report on inventory levels, and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  8. Provide customer service and support to internal and external customers.
  9. Assist with special projects as needed.
