Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as the Manager of EVS (Environmental Services) Operations. As the Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, creating a positive and welcoming environment for both patients and staff.   1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the EVS department, including but not limited to cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting all areas of the facility.
  2. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met and maintained.
  3. Monitor and maintain inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring budgetary guidelines are followed.
  4. Hire, train, and supervise a team of EVS staff, ensuring they are properly trained and following all safety protocols.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the facility is meeting cleanliness and safety standards.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  7. Create and maintain schedules for EVS staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and areas of the facility.
  8. Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by patients, staff, or visitors regarding cleanliness and safety.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in EVS operations, and implement improvements and updates as needed.
  11. Prepare and present reports to upper management on EVS operations, including budgetary and staffing needs.
  12. Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines, and ensure all staff are following proper safety protocols.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for EVS staff, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development.
  14. Serve as a point of contact for any emergency or crisis situations related to EVS operations, ensuring a quick and effective response.
  15. Continuously strive to improve and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the facility, in line with the organization's mission and values.

  • Knowledge Of Environmental Services Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Environmental Services Operations, Including Cleaning And Sanitation Protocols, Waste Management, And Infection Control Procedures.
