Job Description

At Baptist Health (Kentucky), we are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Intravenous (IV) Registered Nurse to join our team. With the ability to provide direct patient care, within a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will be a key contributor to our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional care, and will have a strong background in IV nursing.We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is comfortable and confident in their ability to perform basic IV insertion, IV maintenance, and IV administration. The successful candidate must have a valid Registered Nurse License from the State of Kentucky, and must have an up-to-date certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). We are also looking for a candidate who is highly organized, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

-Provide direct patient care within a fast-paced environment

-Perform basic IV insertion, IV maintenance, and IV administration -Maintain a valid Registered Nurse License from the State of Kentucky -Maintain an up-to-date certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) -Organize and prioritize workloads -Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals -Solve problems quickly and efficiently -Provide compassionate care to patients in need
