  1. Verify Insurance Information: The Financial Clearance Coordinator will be responsible for verifying patients' insurance information and ensuring that all necessary authorizations and referrals are in place prior to their visit.
  2. Coordinate with Insurance Providers: This individual will be responsible for communicating with insurance providers to obtain necessary pre-authorizations and ensure that all claims are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
  3. Educate Patients: The Financial Clearance Coordinator will be responsible for educating patients on their insurance coverage and any financial obligations they may have prior to their visit.
  4. Ensure Accuracy of Patient Financial Information: This role will involve reviewing and updating patient financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  5. Collaborate with Healthcare Team: The Financial Clearance Coordinator will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure that all necessary financial requirements are met before a patient's visit, providing a seamless and stress-free experience for patients and staff.
  6. Develop and Implement Processes: This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing processes to streamline the financial clearance process and ensure efficiency.
  7. Maintain Billing and Coding Knowledge: The Financial Clearance Coordinator will stay up-to-date on billing and coding regulations and requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy in the financial clearance process.
  8. Handle Financial Inquiries: This role will involve responding to patient inquiries related to insurance coverage and financial obligations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Financial Clearance Or Revenue Cycle Management In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Insurance Plans, Billing And Coding Processes, And Government Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Work With Patients, Colleagues, And Insurance Companies.
