Job Description

Baptist Health (Kentucky) is looking for an experienced and compassionate Exercise Physiologist for our Cardiac Rehab program. This individual will be responsible for providing patient assessment, exercise prescription, and education to patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation. Our ideal candidate should have expertise in exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and cardiac risk factor management. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality care to our patients. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to helping our patients improve quality of life and cardiovascular health through exercise. The successful candidate will possess an enthusiastic and empathetic approach to patient care, and be an effective team player. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct patient assessments and analyze results to design personalized exercise programs
  2. Educate patients about the importance of exercise and lifestyle modification for cardiac rehabilitation
  3. Monitor patient progress and modify exercise programs accordingly
  4. Develop and implement exercise plans to help patients reach their goals
  5. Maintain patient records and provide regular feedback to physicians
  6. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  8. Develop educational materials and conduct group presentations to increase awareness about cardiac health and rehabilitation
  9. Remain up-to-date on research and advances in exercise physiology and cardiac rehabilitation
  10. Maintain professional standards of practice and ethical behavior

Job Qualifications
  • Or A Related Field

  • A Bachelor’s Degree In Exercise Science

  • Kinesiology

  • Exercise Physiology

  • Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Acsm-Cep) Or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Ace-Rcep) Credential

  • Current Cpr/Aed Certification

  • Previous Experience In Cardiac Rehabilitation

  • Knowledge Of Exercise Testing And Prescription

  • Ability To Provide Exercise Instruction And Education In A Safe

  • Effective Manner
