Job Description

At Baptist Health (Kentucky), our Endo Tech team is looking for a motivated individual to join our team and help us provide quality endoscopy services to our patients. Our ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent patient care skills and an eagerness to learn.The Endo Tech is an integral part of our team, responsible for providing excellent patient care while assisting the endoscopy team before, during, and after procedures. This position requires a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of endoscopy to ensure patient safety and comfort.We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be certified as an Endo Tech through the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).At Baptist Health (Kentucky), we strive to provide the highest quality of patient care and are seeking an Endo Tech who is passionate about helping our patients. Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the endoscopy team before, during, and after procedures.
  2. Provide excellent patient care while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  3. Communicate effectively with team members and patients.
  4. Work both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of endoscopy.
  6. Organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  7. Be certified as an Endo Tech through the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).
  8. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
  9. Document all patient care activities in an accurate and timely manner.
  10. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Baptist Health (Kentucky).
