
Emergency Management Coordinator

- Develop and implement emergency management plans and protocols for Baptist Health facilities in Kentucky.
- Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with emergency preparedness regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct regular training and drills for staff to prepare them for potential emergencies.
- Monitor and assess potential risks and hazards to the organization and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all emergency management related communication and coordination.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure a coordinated and effective response to emergencies.
- Maintain an inventory of emergency supplies and equipment and ensure they are properly maintained and accessible.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance the organization's emergency response capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in emergency management to continuously improve the organization's preparedness and response.
- Provide support and guidance to staff during emergency situations and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on emergency preparedness and response activities.
- Lead post-emergency evaluations and debriefings to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future planning.
- Serve as a representative of Baptist Health in emergency management meetings and events.
- Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulations related to emergency management.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health in all aspects of the job.
Bachelor's Degree In Emergency Management, Public Health, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Emergency Management, Disaster Preparedness, Or Related Field.
Certification In Emergency Management (E.g. Certified Emergency Manager Or Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional).
In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Emergency Management Laws, Regulations, And Protocols.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Coordinate And Collaborate With Multiple Departments And Agencies During Emergency Situations.
