Emergency Department Technician

1. Provide compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department.
2. Serve as the first point of contact for patients, maintaining a welcoming and professional demeanor.
3. Assist medical staff in responding to emergency situations and providing necessary support.
4. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
5. Monitor and record vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, and temperature.
6. Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies for use in emergency situations.
7. Assist with patient triage, prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
8. Handle administrative tasks, such as updating patient records and completing documentation.
9. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
10. Demonstrate strong empathy and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
11. Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and be able to think quickly and make sound decisions.
12. Continuously stay updated on emergency medical procedures and protocols.
13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients.
14. Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.
