  • Provide direct patient care in emergency situations, including monitoring vital signs, performing basic medical procedures, and assisting with medical equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care is being provided.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the emergency department, following all safety and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with nurses and physicians to gather patient information, report changes in patient status, and assist with treatment plans.
  • Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Prepare and restock emergency department supplies and equipment to ensure availability for patient care.
  • Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges, following proper procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge in emergency medicine.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families during times of crisis and stress.

Job Qualifications
  • Cpr And Basic Life Support Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Current Certifications In Cpr And Basic Life Support, As They Will Be Responsible For Providing Immediate Medical Care In Emergency Situations.

  • Previous Emergency Care Experience: Previous Experience Working In An Emergency Care Setting, Such As An Emergency Room Or Urgent Care Facility, Is Highly Desired For This Position. This Experience Will Provide The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Handle High-Pressure Situations And Provide Quality Care To Patients.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology Is Essential For An Emergency Department Technician. This Knowledge Will Aid In Accurately Documenting Patient Information And Understanding Medical Orders And Procedures.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Emergency Department Can Be A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, So Candidates Should Be Able To Thrive Under Pressure And Work Efficiently To Provide Timely Care To Patients.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In The Emergency Department, As The Technician Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Doctors, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
