EKG Technician, Cardiology

Responsibilities:

1. Perform electrocardiograms and other cardiac tests to diagnose and treat patients.
2. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
3. Ensure accuracy of test results and patient records.
4. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
5. Educate patients on cardiac testing procedures and results.
6. Follow safety protocols and protocols for infection control.
7. Assist cardiologists with patient care.
8. Communicate effectively with patients, cardiologists, and other members of the medical team.
9. Keep up to date with the latest medical technology and advances in cardiology.
10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
