1. Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to patients according to prescription orders.
2. Maintain proper inventory levels of medications and supplies in the pharmacy.
3. Ensure all medications are labeled and stored correctly to comply with legal and safety regulations.
4. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from patients and healthcare providers.
5. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the correct medications and dosages.
6. Accurately process insurance claims and assist patients with insurance questions.
7. Maintain patient profiles and records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following proper sanitation and safety protocols.
9. Educate patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects.
10. Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and educational opportunities.
11. Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and assist in the coordination of patient care.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, coworkers, and healthcare providers.
