- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to patients according to prescription orders.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of medications and supplies in the pharmacy.
- Ensure all medications are labeled and stored correctly to comply with legal and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from patients and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the correct medications and dosages.
- Accurately process insurance claims and assist patients with insurance questions.
- Maintain patient profiles and records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following proper sanitation and safety protocols.
- Educate patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and educational opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and assist in the coordination of patient care.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, coworkers, and healthcare providers.

Certified Pharmacy Technician - The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Hold A Valid Certification As A Pharmacy Technician From A Recognized Institution. This Ensures That The Individual Has Received The Necessary Training And Has Met The Requirements To Handle Pharmaceutical Products Safely And Effectively.
Experience In Retail Pharmacy - Previous Experience Working In A Retail Pharmacy Setting Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Allows The Candidate To Be Familiar With The Daily Operations Of A Community Retail Pharmacy And Is Able To Handle Tasks Such As Prescription Filling, Inventory Management, And Customer Service Efficiently.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Software - Proficiency In Using Pharmacy Software Such As Rxconnect And Qs1 Is Essential For This Position. The Candidate Should Be Able To Navigate Through The Software To Process Prescriptions, Manage Patient Profiles, And Generate Reports Accurately.
Strong Attention To Detail - As A Community Retail Pharmacy Technician, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Accurately Filling Prescriptions And Maintaining Patient Records. Therefore, Attention To Detail Is A Crucial Qualification To Ensure The Safety And Well-Being Of Patients.
