1. Perform routine laboratory tests and accurately record and analyze results.
2. Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
3. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
4. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding laboratory results.
5. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
6. Keep up-to-date with new laboratory techniques and procedures and implement them accordingly.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory procedures and results.
8. Adhere to all hospital and laboratory policies and procedures.
9. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on patient needs.
10. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
11. Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
12. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
13. Participate in quality control and assurance measures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
14. Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the laboratory supervisor or manager.
