
Central Materials Associate
Baptist Health (Kentucky) is currently seeking a Central Materials Associate to join our Supply Chain team. This position will be responsible for providing quality customer service in the acquisition and distribution of materials, instruments, and equipment to support patient care services. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of related experience in a healthcare setting. You must have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ability to multi-task and work accurately under pressure is essential for success in this role. You must also be comfortable using computer systems and databases.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire and distribute materials, instruments, and equipment to support patient care services.
- Provide quality customer service.
- Maintain accurate records in a computer system and databases.
- Ensure that all materials, instruments, and equipment are properly stored and handled.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all safety and regulatory guidelines are followed.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
