Job Description

  1. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment to ensure safe and accurate operation.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, determine appropriate solutions, and complete necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  3. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on medical equipment.
  4. Stay updated on industry advancements and changes in technology to ensure efficient and effective use of equipment.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate equipment maintenance schedules and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
  6. Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to understand equipment needs and provide necessary support.
  7. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines while handling medical equipment.
  8. Monitor inventory levels of equipment spare parts and supplies and submit requests for restocking when necessary.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper storage of equipment and tools.
  10. Provide training and support to healthcare staff on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  11. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance the overall performance of medical equipment.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
  13. Demonstrate commitment to delivering exceptional service to patients and strive to exceed their expectations.
  14. Participate in on-call duty rotation for after-hours emergency repairs.
  15. Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment functionality, safety, or maintenance to the appropriate supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Medical Equipment Repair And Maintenance.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Understanding Of Medical Equipment Operation.

  • Familiarity With Regulatory Standards And Guidelines For Medical Equipment Safety And Maintenance.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Complex Equipment.
