Administrative Assistant - Outpatient Physical Therapy

5. Greet and check-in patients, collect necessary information, and ensure a smooth check-in process.
6. Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes.
7. Coordinate and communicate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
8. Maintain inventory of office supplies and order when necessary.
9. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic's waiting area and treatment rooms.
10. Assist in billing and coding processes.
11. Attend department meetings and take minutes as needed.
12. Perform data entry and generate reports as requested.
13. Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
14. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, team members, and other healthcare professionals.
15. Proactively identify and address any issues or concerns within the department.
16. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and suggest solutions to enhance the efficiency of the department.
17. Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Baptist Health and the Outpatient Physical Therapy department.
