As the leader of our occupational therapy department in our acute care setting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional occupational therapy services to our patients.   1. Oversee daily operations of the occupational therapy department in the acute care setting.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of occupational therapy services.
  3. Lead and manage a team of occupational therapists, providing guidance, training, and support to promote professional growth and development.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and integrate occupational therapy services into patient care plans.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of occupational therapy interventions and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to occupational therapy services.
  7. Manage department budget and resources, including equipment and supplies.
  8. Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in occupational therapy to continuously improve the department's services.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the occupational therapy department and other departments within the hospital.
  10. Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and a patient-centered approach.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As An Occupational Therapist In An Acute Care Setting.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Program.

  • Current License To Practice Occupational Therapy In The State Of Kentucky.

  • Management Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In An Acute Care Facility.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Therapists.
