Do you have a passion for helping animals and providing the best care possible? With a history of providing quality pet health care for over 50 years, Banfield Pet Hospital is looking for a highly-motivated Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care and preventive health services to pets in our hospital.You must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university, and be eligible to practice in the state where the hospital is located. You must also have a current license as a Veterinarian within the state of practice. Previous experience in a veterinary hospital is a plus.We are looking for someone who is compassionate and dedicated to providing the best possible care to pets and their owners. You must also possess excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with pet owners and other staff members on a daily basis. If you have a strong work ethic and the drive to succeed, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive medical care and preventive health services to animals in the hospital.
  2. Diagnose, treat, and manage medical conditions of animals.
  3. Create and manage treatment plans for individual pets.
  4. Communicate with pet owners and other staff members regarding the pet's care and progress.
  5. Administer medications, vaccinations, and other treatments as needed.
  6. Ensure that the hospital is up to date with the latest veterinary medicine standards and practices.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each pet.
  8. Perform routine surgeries and minor procedures.
  9. Monitor and record vital signs and administer anesthesia when necessary.
  10. Educate pet owners on proper pet care and nutrition.
