Claims Adjuster

The Senior Claims Adjuster ensures claims are fairly and accurately investigated and evaluated in accordance with established timelines, customer service standards and quality standards. Responsible for liability/compensability, coverage and damages analysis including the ability to negotiate and complete settlements fairly and equitably with all parties. Investigates, determines liability/compensability and damages, cause of loss and adjusts all elements of assigned claims. Interviews clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information regarding claim. Inspects damage of properties or injury of persons involved. Examines photographs, video surveillance, audio clips, statements and all other documentation related to claim. Evaluates the extent of damage and comparable compensation requirements. Researches and verifies insurance policy coverage. Documents all findings in concise claims report and presents claims to insurance companies/clients. Negotiates with claimant to settle claims and issues payments. Identifies suspicious losses and assists insurance companies with the investigation and reporting. Overnight travel is required.
