- Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of all company data.
- Lead and manage a team of data management professionals to support the organization's data needs.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and requirements for various business functions.
- Monitor data quality and performance, and identify and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain data security protocols to protect sensitive information.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in data management and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data models, and data flow diagrams to ensure a clear understanding of data sources and relationships.
- Train and educate employees on data management policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external data vendors and partners.
- Manage data migration and integration projects, ensuring seamless and accurate transfer of data.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data management policies and procedures.
- Create and present reports on data management performance and progress to senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data management.
- Collaborate with IT department to ensure the proper storage, backup, and disaster recovery of data.
Extensive Experience In Data Management: A Senior Manager At Ball Corporation Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Data Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large And Complex Data Projects.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Advanced Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Critically To Identify And Solve Complex Data-Related Issues.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Guide And Mentor A Team Of Data Management Professionals. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing A Team And Delegating Tasks Effectively.
Knowledge Of Data Governance And Compliance: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Governance And Compliance Regulations, Such As Gdpr And Ccpa, To Ensure The Company's Data Management Practices Align With Industry Standards And Legal Requirements.
