Extensive Knowledge Of Labor Laws And Regulations: A Legal Leader In Labor And Union Relations At Ball Corporation Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of Federal And State Labor Laws, As Well As Regulations Related To Union Relations. This Includes Laws Such As The National Labor Relations Act And The Fair Labor Standards Act.
Experience In Negotiating Labor Contracts: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Negotiating Labor Contracts With Unions. This Requires Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills, As Well As The Ability To Find Mutually Beneficial Solutions For Both Parties.
Understanding Of Collective Bargaining: A Legal Leader In Labor And Union Relations At Ball Corporation Should Be Well-Versed In The Process Of Collective Bargaining And Have Experience In Handling Negotiations With Labor Unions. This Includes Developing Proposals, Responding To Counter-Proposals, And Facilitating The Bargaining Process.
Knowledge Of Workforce Management: In Addition To Labor Relations, The Role Also Involves Managing The Workforce And Ensuring Compliance With Labor Laws. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Areas Such As Employee Classification, Wage And Hour Laws, And Workplace Safety Regulations.
