- Maintain and improve our facilities to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and systems to identify and address any issues.
- Develop and implement sustainable solutions for facility operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in sustainable facilities management.
- Create and maintain accurate records of facility maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any facility-related issues in a timely manner.

- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors for facility-related projects.

Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Degree In Engineering, Such As Mechanical, Electrical, Or Industrial Engineering, Is Typically Required For A Facilities Engineer Role At Ball Corporation.
Experience In Facility Management Or Maintenance: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Facility Management Or Maintenance Role, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of Facility Systems And Processes.
Knowledge Of Building Codes And Regulations: Facilities Engineers Must Be Familiar With Local, State, And Federal Building Codes And Regulations To Ensure Compliance And Safety Within The Facility.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Facilities Engineer, One Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Systems And Troubleshoot Issues That Arise In The Facility. This Requires Strong Analytical Skills And The Ability To Think Critically To Find Solutions.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Abilities: Facilities Engineers Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Colleagues, Contractors, And Other Stakeholders To Coordinate Projects And Ensure The Smooth Operation Of The Facility. Strong Teamwork Skills Are Also Necessary To Collaborate With Other Departments And Work Towards Common Goals.
