Welcome to AXA Group! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to join our Casualty team. As an Underwriting Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our underwriters in evaluating risk and ensuring the profitability of our casualty insurance products.   1. Provide administrative support to the underwriting team by handling tasks such as data entry, file organization, and document preparation.
  2. Collaborate with underwriters to gather and analyze information necessary for risk evaluation and pricing decisions.
  3. Conduct research and gather data to assist in the development of new insurance products and the improvement of existing ones.
  4. Review and verify policy applications, endorsements, and other related documents for accuracy and completeness.
  5. Communicate with brokers, agents, and clients to obtain missing or additional information and address any inquiries or concerns.
  6. Prepare and distribute underwriting reports and summaries to internal stakeholders.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of policies, endorsements, claims, and other relevant information in the company's database.
  8. Monitor and track policy renewals and follow-up on any outstanding requirements.
  9. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may affect underwriting decisions.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and best practices, to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  11. Act as a liaison between the underwriting team and other departments, such as claims and finance, to facilitate efficient and effective operations.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the underwriting function.
  13. Participate in training and development programs to expand knowledge and skills and stay updated on industry developments.
  14. Uphold a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and communicating with stakeholders.
