- Conduct in-depth analysis and modeling to support the development and implementation of reinsurance pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations for pricing optimization.
- Utilize statistical and actuarial techniques to evaluate risk and pricing.
- Develop and maintain actuarial pricing models and tools.
- Monitor and review the performance of existing reinsurance products and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with business objectives.
- Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members on actuarial methodologies and techniques.
- Collaborate with underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure pricing strategies align with business goals and objectives.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new pricing strategies and initiatives.
- Conduct peer reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of actuarial work.
- Adhere to regulatory and compliance standards in all actuarial work.
- Continuously review and improve processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the reinsurance pricing function.
- Maintain a strong understanding of AXA Group's products, services, and competitive landscape.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on actuarial matters and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In Reinsurance Pricing Within The Insurance Industry
Strong Technical Skills In Actuarial Modeling, Data Analysis, And Statistical Software (E.g. Sas, R, Python)
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders
Professional Actuarial Designation, Such As Fellow Of The Society Of Actuaries (Fsa) Or Equivalent, Preferred.
