
Release Manager - 12 month FTC

- Oversee the entire software release process, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation of new features and updates.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain release schedules, including coordinating and communicating release dates and dependencies.
- Monitor and track the progress of software releases, identifying and addressing any delays or issues.
- Develop and implement release management best practices and processes, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate release status and updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential release risks.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure code is properly packaged, tested, and released.
- Facilitate release meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders on release progress.
- Develop and maintain release documentation, including release notes and user guides.
- Identify and resolve conflicts or issues within and across teams to ensure smooth and timely release delivery.
- Communicate and enforce release policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in release management.
- Collaborate with other teams to align release schedules and dependencies.
- Continuously monitor and improve release processes to increase efficiency and quality.
- Provide training and support to team members on release processes and tools.
- Contribute to the overall success of the organization by driving continuous improvement and innovation in release management.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Release Management Or A Similar Role, Preferably In A Large Organization.
Strong Understanding Of Agile Methodologies And Experience Working In An Agile Environment.
Prior Experience In Managing And Coordinating Complex Software Releases, Including Planning, Scheduling, And Risk Management.
