The successful candidate must have a Juris Doctor degree, be admitted to practice law in the US, and be in good standing with the relevant state bar. Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and counsel to the organization on environmental compliance and sustainability matters.
2. Develop and implement corporate policies, programs, and initiatives related to environmental compliance and sustainability.
3. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of environmental law and regulations.
4. Analyze and advise on potential risks and legal issues related to environmental compliance and sustainability.
5. Provide guidance on environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
6. Monitor and review legal documents related to environmental compliance and sustainability.
7. Work closely with other departments within the organization to ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
8. Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the company's environmental policies.
9. Represent the company in negotiations and other legal proceedings related to environmental compliance and sustainability.
10. Prepare and provide reports and communications on environmental compliance and sustainability matters.
