Global Trade Customs Compliance Manager

AVX is looking for an experienced and motivated Global Trade Customs Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the global customs compliance process and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. You will also develop, implement and maintain effective customs compliance systems and procedures.We are looking for a candidate with a strong knowledge of customs compliance and regulations within the global trade industry. You should have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience in international trade, customs classification, and export/import regulations is required.The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. You should have the ability to collaborate and work with different departments and build relationships with external partners. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee, manage, and ensure all global customs compliance processes adhere to all applicable regulations.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain effective customs compliance systems and procedures.
3. Research, analyze, and interpret global trade and customs regulations.
4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to remain up to date on new and changing regulations.
5. Monitor and audit international shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
6. Prepare and submit all required export and import documents.
7. Monitor and review export/import logs and documents for accuracy and completeness.
8. Maintain records and documentation for all customs transactions.
9. Communicate and coordinate with internal and external partners on compliance issues.
10. Identify and investigate any issues or discrepancies related to customs compliance.
11. Develop and implement strategies to minimize customs fees, taxes, and other costs.
12. Provide training and support to internal teams on customs compliance processes and regulations.
