The Director, Global Purchasing will be responsible for ensuring AVX's purchasing policies and procedures are followed to ensure quality and cost-effective results. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field• 10+ years of experience in global purchasing, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role• Proven track record of developing successful supplier and customer relationships• Excellent negotiation and communication skills• Deep understanding of the global market and emerging trends• Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems• Organizational and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
