Aviva, one of the UK's leading insurance and investment companies, is seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a UK Equities Portfolio Manager, Stewardship. In this role, you will lead the stewardship efforts for our UK equities portfolios, ensuring that our investments are aligned with our values and delivering sustainable long-term returns for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the UK equities market, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to responsible investing.   1. Lead the stewardship efforts for Aviva's UK equities portfolios, ensuring that investments are in line with responsible investing principles.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis of UK equities market to make informed investment decisions.
  3. Develop and implement stewardship strategies and policies for UK equities portfolios.
  4. Collaborate with other team members to integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors into investment decisions.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of UK equities portfolios, making adjustments as needed.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in responsible investing.
  7. Communicate with clients and stakeholders about stewardship efforts and the impact of responsible investing.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with companies in Aviva's UK equities portfolios to promote responsible business practices.
  9. Represent Aviva at industry events and conferences related to responsible investing.
  10. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members in regards to responsible investing and stewardship.
  11. Collaborate with other departments within Aviva to ensure alignment of responsible investing strategies.
  12. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and codes of conduct related to responsible investing.
  13. Continuously monitor and report on the progress and impact of responsible investing efforts.
  14. Contribute to the development and enhancement of Aviva's responsible investing policies and procedures.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on responsible investing for internal and external stakeholders.
