  1. Develop and implement Aviva's regulatory policy strategy to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  2. Monitor and analyze changes in the regulatory landscape and proactively recommend adjustments to policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate potential regulatory risks.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries and audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  5. Lead and manage a team of regulatory policy professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and external stakeholders to stay informed of emerging regulatory trends and best practices.
  7. Communicate regulatory updates and changes to relevant internal stakeholders to ensure company-wide compliance.
  8. Conduct training and education sessions for employees to promote a culture of regulatory compliance.
  9. Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  10. Collaborate with legal counsel to review and provide guidance on new products, services, and business initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  11. Monitor and review regulatory submissions and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  12. Maintain a deep understanding of Aviva's products, services, and operations to identify potential regulatory issues and develop appropriate solutions.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on regulatory policy matters, providing guidance and advice to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  14. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of regulatory policy management.
  15. Uphold Aviva's reputation and values by maintaining the highest ethical standards in all interactions with regulators and external stakeholders.
