- Utilize extensive knowledge of insurance policies and coverage to accurately determine claim eligibility and coverage.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, acting as a point of contact for any questions or concerns related to their claims.
- Collaborate with other members of the insurance team, including underwriters and risk managers, to ensure efficient and effective claim handling.
- Review and analyze documentation, including policy language and loss reports, to accurately assess the extent of damages and determine appropriate settlements.
- Use negotiation skills to communicate with clients and third-party vendors to reach fair and timely settlements.
- Document all claim activities, including correspondence, telephone conversations, and decisions made, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations to ensure compliance and accurate claim handling.
- Mentor and train junior adjusters, providing guidance and support in handling complex or high-value claims.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of innovative solutions and strategies for claims management.
- Proactively identify potential fraud or suspicious claims and escalate to management as necessary.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Aviva in a positive manner at all times.

Extensive Experience In Property Claims Handling: A Senior Property Desk Adjuster At Aviva Should Possess A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Handling Complex Property Claims, Preferably In The Specialty Claims Area. This Experience Should Include Handling Claims From Start To Finish, Including Investigation, Coverage Analysis, And Negotiation Of Settlements.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Insurance Policies And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Insurance Policies, Coverage Limits, And Regulations Related To The Property Insurance Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Property Damage Assessment, Repair Methods, And Estimating Techniques.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Property Desk Adjuster, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Analyzing And Evaluating Complex Claims, Identifying Coverage Issues, And Determining The Appropriate Settlement Amount.
