  1. Conduct risk assessments for engineering, construction, and renewable energy clients to determine appropriate insurance coverage and premiums.
  2. Analyze and evaluate potential risks associated with new and existing clients.
  3. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and continued business.
  5. Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to effectively assess risk and make informed decisions.
  6. Work closely with other underwriters and departments within the company to ensure accurate and timely processing of policies and claims.
  7. Utilize strong analytical skills to review and assess complex insurance applications and documents.
  8. Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to ensure profitability for the company.
  9. Monitor and track the performance of policies to identify any potential issues and take corrective actions.
  10. Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters and other team members as needed.
  11. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify new business opportunities and drive profitable growth for the company.
  12. Stay compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of policies, claims, and other relevant information.
  14. Continuously improve and streamline underwriting processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Represent the company at industry events and conferences, as needed.
