- Investigate and evaluate complex property claims in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
- Communicate with customers, agents, and other parties involved in the claims process in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate and detailed claim records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as supervisors and managers, to ensure consistent and accurate handling of claims.
- Follow company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, in handling claims.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve claim handling processes.
- Negotiate settlements with customers, attorneys, and other parties as needed.
- Handle multiple claims simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Identify potential fraud and escalate to appropriate parties for further investigation.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
- Provide input and suggestions for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Insurance, Risk Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Property Claims Handling, Preferably In The Specialty Claims Sector.
Strong Knowledge Of Property Insurance Policies, Coverage, And Regulations.
Ability To Effectively Communicate And Negotiate With Clients, Agents, And Other Stakeholders.
