Job Description

Aviva is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a team player who is well-versed in the procurement process and has a track record of proactively managing projects and meeting deadlines.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, as well as a minimum of three years of professional experience in the procurement field. The successful candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute the strategic procurement plan for the organization.
  2. Design and implement effective processes to ensure the procurement process is carried out efficiently and effectively.
  3. Negotiate competitive pricing and terms with suppliers.
  4. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
  5. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  6. Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
  7. Analyze industry trends and evaluate the impact on organizational procurement strategies.
  8. Lead and manage procurement initiatives and projects.
  9. Maintain and foster relationships with existing and potential vendors.
  10. Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
