You will play a crucial role in identifying and selecting new vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing ongoing performance and compliance.To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in vendor management, with a proven track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships.   1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high quality and efficient services are provided to our customers.
  2. Identify and select new vendors and negotiate contracts to meet the company's needs and standards.
  3. Manage ongoing performance and compliance of vendors to ensure they are meeting contractual obligations.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in vendor management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and implement vendor management strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  7. Monitor and track vendor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  8. Conduct regular vendor audits to ensure they are meeting all contractual requirements and compliance standards.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records, contracts, and documentation.
  10. Manage vendor budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness in vendor relationships.
  11. Communicate effectively with vendors to address any questions or concerns and provide necessary support.
  12. Develop and maintain vendor scorecards to evaluate performance and make informed decisions on vendor partnerships.
  13. Train and mentor team members on vendor management best practices.
  14. Represent the company in vendor negotiations and maintain a positive and professional relationship with vendors.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the vendor selection and onboarding process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Vendor Management Principles And Best Practices: A Qualified Manager, Vendor Relations At Aviva Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Vendor Management Processes, Including Vendor Selection, Contract Negotiation, And Performance Monitoring.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: As A Key Point Of Contact For Aviva's External Vendors, The Manager, Vendor Relations Must Possess Exceptional Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Manage Relationships And Resolve Conflicts.

  • Proven Experience In Vendor Contract Management: Aviva's Manager, Vendor Relations Must Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Vendor Contracts, Including Negotiating Favorable Terms And Ensuring Compliance With Agreed-Upon Terms And Conditions.
