Job Description

As Manager of Cybersecurity Incident Response at Aviva, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization and our customers from cyber threats. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our incident response team and ensure swift and effective action in the event of a security breach.   1. Develop and implement an effective incident response plan to mitigate and respond to cyber threats.
  2. Lead and manage the incident response team, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and effective response to security breaches.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities, and proactively identify potential risks to the organization.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and communications, to coordinate response efforts and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  5. Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents and provide detailed reports to senior management.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement and cybersecurity experts, to enhance incident response capabilities.
  7. Manage the budget and resources allocated to the incident response team.
  8. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cybersecurity incident response.
  9. Develop and conduct training programs for employees on cyber threat awareness and incident response protocols.
  10. Continuously assess and improve incident response processes to enhance the organization's overall cybersecurity posture.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles And Best Practices: A Manager, Cybersecurity Incident Response At Aviva Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles, Frameworks, And Best Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Threat Intelligence, Incident Response Methodologies, Security Operations, And Risk Management.

  • Extensive Experience In Incident Response: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Cybersecurity Incident Response, Preferably In A Large Organization Or Financial Services Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Responding To And Managing Cyber Incidents, Including Experience With Incident Detection, Containment, Eradication, And Recovery.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Manager, Cybersecurity Incident Response, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Cybersecurity Professionals. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members, Delegate Tasks, And Foster A Collaborative And Inclusive Team Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Provide Regular Updates On Incident Response Activities. Additionally, They Should Have Experience In Managing Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Such As Business Leaders, It Teams, And External Vendors.

  • Relevant Certifications And Education: Aviva Requires A Manager, Cybersecurity Incident Response To Have Relevant Certifications And Education In The Field Of Cybersecurity. This May Include Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Giac, And A Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field. Additional Training Or Certifications In Incident Response And Management Are A Plus.
